The first group of Ukrainians who took part in the protests against the Government in Kiev are set to arrive at a rehabilitation facility near Zemplinska Sirava Lake in the Kosice region on Friday, the Foreign and European Affairs Ministry announced on Thursday.
The first group of five Ukrainians includes two nurses who treated injured protesters at Maidan Square. The rehab stays are part of aid provided by the Slovak Government to Ukraine, and are designed for Ukrainian citizens who went through 'traumatic situations' and don’t require medical treatment. Slovakia will also provide expert psychological support at the rehab centre, which is owned by the Defence Ministry.
