The unemployment rate in Slovakia in February reached 13.49 percent, which is a decrease by 0.12 percentage points from January. As the Central Office of Labour, Social Affairs and Family further informed on Thursday, the registered joblessness rate fell by 1.22 percentage points in yearly terms.
The number of jobseekers able to take up a job immediately was 364,100 at the end of last month. Compared with January, this figure declined by 3,100. In a yearly comparison, the number of unemployed persons able to take up a job immediately decreased by nearly 33,000.
