The opening parliamentary session, at which newly elected MPs will take up their seats, will take place at 9 a.m. on Friday under strict security and preventive measures. Both the media and public will be prohibited from attending the event due to the coronavirus situation. Before entering the chamber, MPs will have to sanitize their hands and put on protective gloves and face masks. MPs will shake hands with the parliamentary chair despite wearing gloves, as all procedures for this event will be observed, meaning that they will also take the oath and provide their signatures.
