Thirteen new measures aiming to mitigate the negative impact of the coronavirus outbreak on the Slovak business sector were adopted by the Slovak government on Wednesday. Among the most important measures is extending the deadline for submitting tax returns to June 30th. This measure, however, still has to be approved by Parliament. Companies won't have to pay social and health-care contributions and income tax for employees who weren't able to work due to Government measures aimed at limiting the spread of the coronavirus. Two Slovak banks will provide short-term loans with low interest to companies in selected sectors.
