The Slovak Pharmacists' Chamber calls on sick patients to consider carefully before visiting a public pharmacy in person and asks patients to send their relatives or acquaintances if possible. "Thus, you will add to the temporary decrease in sick patients' concentration in pharmacies' premises," reads the Chamber's statement published in reaction to the recommendations of the Health Ministry. The Ministry called on sick people not to visit doctors and to collect their medicaments in pharmacies. Moreover, the Slovak Pharmacist Chamber also recommends healthy people who only want to buy nutritional supplements, medical cosmetics and other assortment of public pharmacies to postpone their visit to public pharmacies at least for one month.
