We Are Family party criticized for its massive investment plans

The Club of Economic Analysts (KEA) criticizes the plan of the We are family party, currently taking part in the negotiations on the future government, to impose massive investments. In order to avoid an increase in the public debt, the party suggests excluding chosen state institutions from public finances. According to KEA this would only obscure the real state of public finances. The Club of Economic Analysts believes that Slovakia cannot afford a massive increase in the public debt and the only option is to improve the use of existing resources. KEA is a civic association with 45 members - economic analysts from various institutions such as Slovak Academy of Sciences, ministries, universities, commercial banks, NGOs and consulting companies.
