Both founders left unsuccessful Together party

After Jozef Mihál left the unsuccessful Together political party and moved to the Freedom and Solidarity party, the Together party is now without both of its founders. The first of them, Miroslav Beblavý, retired from politics right after the general election which took place on February 29. The Together party was in a coalition with the Progressive Slovakia party, which missed the parliament by less than a thousand votes in the general election. Freedom and Solidarity earned 13 seats in the 150 member parliament and is currently part of the negotiations on the new government. In the past, Jozef Mihál had already been a member of Freedom and Solidarity for eight years until he left in February 2017.
