First case of coronavirus in Slovakia

The first case of coronavirus in Slovakia has been confirmed on Friday. The 52-year-old man probably contracted the virus from his son, who recently returned from Venice, Italy. The son, however, doesn't exhibit any symptoms of coronavirus. Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini informed at a press conference that the patient's condition has been improving and that it seems that he's been experiencing a subtler course of the disease. On Thursday, Pellegrini informed that he expects masks for doctors in connection with the coronavirus to be available by the weekend. As he added, the Government had asked state material reserves to make use of a special provision of the public procurement law. He has also come to an agreement with the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban that Hungary will supply masks to Slovakia in the case of an emergency.
