Slovak tourism is already experiencing negative impacts from the situation related to the coronavirus, says Tourism Association President Marek Harbulak. According to him, in some cases corporate clients have restricted their business trips, and large corporations are advising their employees not to travel or organise meetings unnecessarily.
Meanwhile, Slovakia's Foreign and European Affairs Ministry announced on Wednesday that it has suspended receiving applications in person at its embassy in Beijing, its consulate in Shanghai, and its embassies in Seoul and Tehran. However, urgent consular assistance for Slovak citizens is still being provided without any restrictions.
The number of samples that have been tested in Slovakia for the presence of coronavirus to date has increased to 211, but all results have proved negative, the Health Ministry reported on Tuesday.
