Za ludi (For the People) head Andrej Kiska stated after meeting President Zuzana Čaputová on Tuesday that he expects the future government to have strong professional and moral credit. Kiska, whose party will have 12 MPs in the new Parliament (out of 150) went on to say that the presidium of his party will hold a session on Thursday in order to decide whether to give him an official mandate to hold talks with Matovič on forming a government. On Tuesday the two politicians will meet for informal talks. "I'll ask him many questions regarding the manner of governing and how the government would deal with, for example, a situation in which value-oriented matters were brought up," he explained. He also intends to learn Matovič's opinions on direct democracy and the binding nature of referendums, and will further ask about possible candidates for ministerial and other state-related posts.
