Government approves Slovakia's Foreign Policy priorities in 2020

Slovakia's Foreign and European policy in the near future will aim to confirm Slovakia's reputation as a readable, reliable and decisive member of the European Union, NATO, regional groupings and international organisations. This stems from the strategic material of Slovakia's Foreign Ministry approved by the Government on Wednesday. According to the ministry, Slovakia will support effective multilateralism based on the rules of international law and at a time of renewed rivalry between superpowers and expanding digitisation and the onset of artificial intelligence, it will emphasise humanism. "Under conditions where the rules of international law are relativized, Slovakia remains a responsible and trustworthy partner," said the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
