A major part of the R7 expressway and also a section of the D4 motorway that make up the new bypass around Bratislava will be opened for use in late March or early April, according to Transport and Construction Minister Árpád Érsek (Most-Hid). A total of 29.7 kilometres of the overall 59-kilometre D4/R7 bypass will thus be opened. The entire R7 could be opened in early 2021.
