The Slovak Embassy in London, built in 1969, is to undergo reconstruction at a cost of almost 6.5 million euro before VAT. The whole reconstruction, including interior work, is expected to be finished within a 24-month horizon. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs started preparing the reconstruction already in 2015, citing the poor technical condition of the building. "The aim of the investment is to create suitable working, technical, hygienic and safety conditions for the use of the building and the optimal operation of the embassy," concluded the Ministry.
