A political party's pro-European orientation is an important criterion when it comes to voting for 54 percent of the respondents, according to a Focus survey carried out between January 15 and 22. It isn't an important criterion for 33 percent. The survey showed that it's the supporters of the PS/Spolu (Progressive Slovakia-Together coalition), Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) and the For the People party (Za ludi) who care about such orientation most. Conversely, it's the least important factor for the supporters of the far-right People's Party Our Slovakia (LSNS). "In the case of We Are Family it's roughly fifty-fifty. Pro-European orientation is also taken more lightly by the voters of the Slovak National Party (SNS) and Smer-SD," stated Focus agency's head Martin Slosiarik.
