Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová is by far the most popular politician in the country, with her trust among people continuously growing since taking up her post in June 2019, according to the results of a survey conducted by the Focus agency. It indicates that 58% trust the President and 39% do not find her trustworthy. Thus, she is also the only politician with more people trusting her than not. In second place came Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (39% for and 59% against) followed by the leaders of opposition parties Andrej Kiska (29% vs. 69%), Igor Matovič (29% vs. 69%), Boris Kollár (28% vs. 69%) and Michal Truban (27% vs. 68%).
The poll was carried out among 1013 respondents between January 15 and 22.
