Two of the highest-altitude mountain chalets in Slovakia have been added to the Google Street View service to mark the 15th anniversary of Google Maps. The images of Zbojnicka Chata and Teryho Chata were produced as a result of collaboration between the Slovak Tourist Club and the JAMES mountaineering union. Slovak Tourists Club chair Peter Dragun warned against accessing traditional destinations from an armchair. "Despite this, however, we've gladly granted permission to have their simulacrum displayed in Street View. It will enable even people with medical disabilities or those of an advanced age to make a virtual ascent to the chalets," said.
