50 years of Vienna bowing to Slovak singer

And exactly 50 years ago, on 7th February 1970, Slovak-born soprano Edita Gruberova enchanted the picky audience of the Stadt Opera in Vienna for the very first time. She started her star career as the Queen of the Night in the Mozart's Magic Flute. In 1970, Gruberova became the Queen of coloratura, one of the top ranked divas in the history of opera.
