Young people aged 18 to 34 from the V4 countries want to stay in the European Union. This according to the results of a new survey by Globsec, which asked 2000 Central Europeans for their opinions. According to analyst Katarína Klingová, young people associate EU membership not only with economic benefits, but also with values such as solidarity, cooperation and democracy. More than half of young Slovaks would like Slovakia to be "somewhere between East and West". Analyst Dominika Hajdu commented that this phenomenon of inclination to the middle way can be observed across all of Europe.
