M.R. Stefanik Airport in Bratislava has not introduced any measures in connection with the outbreak of coronavirus, airport spokeswoman Veronika Sevcikova said on Thursday. As she added, the airport has no direct airline routes with China and the countries where the virus has appeared. Sevcikova went on to say that the chief hygienist's department at the Transport and Construction Ministry had sent to airports in Slovakia, including Bratislava airport, information material of the World Health Organisation for the travelling public on the methods of prevention against coronavirus. "Measures at the airport are ordered by Slovakia's chief hygienist, not the airport itself," she added. Seventeen people have died of the new virus in China so far and almost 600 have been infected.
