The number of foreigners working in Slovakia rose by 9,182 to 78,298 at the end of 2019, statistics revealed. The number of Serbians working in Slovakia has decreased, while the number of Ukrainians has increased. As many as 32,114 people from EU countries work in Slovakia with an information card. More than 46,000 foreigners are from the third countries and have an information card, or a work permit.
