In January the average nominal monthly wage in Slovakia posted the highest growth in the wholesale sector by 10.3 percent to €824, according to the Statistics office.
The real average salaries copied the evolution of the nominal ones given the fact that inflation stagnated. The average monthly wage decreased in restaurants and pubs by 1.9 percent to €363.
