On Wednesday, the trial in the case of the murder of journalist Ján Kuciak continued in Pezinok. Former journalist and member of the Slovak Information Service Peter Tóth has been summoned to testify. In court, Tóth disclosed that the accused businessman, Marian Kočner, made references to Ján Kuciak in a tone of hatred. "I have no doubt that Kočner and Zsuzsova prepared Kuciak's murder," said Toth.
Kočner hired Tóth to surveille journalists. His photos then played a key role in the murder and now in the trial itself. According to Tóth, Norbert Bödör, another Slovak controversial businessman, contributed financially to the monitoring of journalists along with Kočner.
