The opening ceremony for the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Slovakia and Japan took place on Tuesday in the Hall of the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic. The jubilee year will be commemorated with several cultural events and exchange programs. Slovak Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Miroslav Lajčák has expressed appreciation for the good diplomatic relations between the two countries, as well as for their long-term pragmatic and political-economic partnership.
