In 2020, salaries in Slovakia will grow by approximately 5-7%, expects Michal Batis from the Grafton HR company. Thus, the growth should slow down compared to 2019, when it was at a level of 6-8%. The slowdown of the Slovak economy will thus be projected into the speed of salary growth, which will be approximately at the level of inflation. "It is logical that the fourteen year maximums from 2019 will not be repeated. In some fields like health, gastronomy or retail, salaries grew by as much as 15%," said Miroslav Garaj, also of Grafton.
