Shops in Slovakia will close at noon on Tuesday, December 24 and will reopen on Friday December 27. On December 31, some shops will close sooner than on a usual day and all will be closed even throughout January 1. On these days, only those shops which are operated by the owner, not an employee, can remain open. According to the finance.sk website, shops which will be open include mostly gas stations, pharmacies, shops at airports; bus and train stations will also be open as well as the ticket sale points.
