A Slovak lawyer active in the field of civil servants, Monika Filipová, was elected on Wednesday as the Chair of the Committee on Democracy and Governance of the Council of Europe. The Committee focuses on the ethical standards of public officials, digital democracy and self-government control mechanisms. "I am glad that I will be able to provide my expertise and contribute to the implementation of reform measures in individual Member States," said the newly elected chair of the committee Filipová.
