Property taxes rise in Bratislava

From January 2020, the City of Bratislava will increase its property tax. On Thursday, the city council approved the new measure. Tax rates will vary, depending on the type of property and its location. In the outskirts such as Podunajské Biskupice or Vrakuňa, the tax per square meter of the property will rise by 0.90 cents and in the downtown areas like Staré Mesto or Nivy, the tax per square meter will hike by 1 euro.
