The hospital in Michalovce has opened its new center of interventional angiology at a cost of €1.3 million. It has acquired a new high-end biplanar angiograph that displays blood vessels under X-ray control, allowing modern mini-invasive endovascular surgery to be performed. The hospital, which belongs to the "Svet zdravia" network owned by the financial group Penta, co-financed the project with funds from the European Union's Integrated Regional Operational Program.
