The Slovak Presidency of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) will be remembered as a people-focused presidency, Slovak Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini said in his speech while opening a two-day OSCE Ministerial Council meeting in Bratislava on Thursday. He specified that "it was about people suffering from conflicts, people whose voices need to be heard and about OSCE employees and diplomats". Pellegrini praised the work done by OSCE acting chief Miroslav Lajcak and his team, as well as a successful project involving the reconstruction of the bombed bridge in the town of Stanytsia Luhanska on the contact line in eastern Ukraine.
