81 percent of Slovaks and 76 percent of Europeans think that a common currency is good for the EU - the highest level of support since the introduction of euro coins and banknotes in 2002, according to the latest Eurobarometer survey. When it comes to the euro as such 68 percent of Slovaks believe that the euro is beneficial for their country. The common currency is supported by the majority of people in all 19 eurozone member states.
