The Finance Ministry on Thursday dismissed Jan Barczi from the post of CEO of the state-run lottery and betting company Tipos, ministry spokesperson Alexandra Gogova told TASR on the same day. Barczi was detained by the police on Tuesday, with the media reporting that this could have been connected to an investigation into alleged cases of money laundering via Tipos.
