The Government continued its series of away-from-home sessions on Wednesday, but this time didn't travel very far from the Government Office, as it met with representatives of Bratislava City Council in the Primatial Palace to discuss the current needs of the capital. The session was originally scheduled for October 30 but was postponed. According to Bratislava mayor Matúš Vallo, the city is mainly interested in discussing the financing of Bratislava, the powers of the city police, and the surrounding woodland. Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) has stated that he's interested in giving the capital a helping hand, as he's convinced that the city, as the entry gate to the country and the seat of important state institutions, deserves special treatment.
