Efforts to attract Slovaks home from Denmark

80 Slovaks attended the 'Work in Slovakia-Good Idea!' event taking place in Copenhagen, Denmark on Sunday. As part of it, top management representatives from large firms in Slovakia (such as Adien, AmCham/BSCF, Dell, European Migration Agency, IBM, Lenovo, O2, Orange, BSS and T-Systems) introduced their job offers, especially positions in the IT to Slovak expats living in Denmark. According to the Hospodárske Noviny daily, 3,135 Slovaks currently work or study in Denmark. The 'Work in Slovakia-Good Idea!' event has previously taken place in London, UK and Dublin, Ireland. The series of events is organized by the Office of the Slovak Vice-premier for Investments and Informatisation in cooperation with the the Digital Coalition of the Slovak IT Association.
