Extraordinary session of Security Council

Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) convened a session of the Security Council on Friday in order to discuss classified information and the matters concerning the state defence with which OLaNO MP Jaroslav N. (name abbreviated due to legal reasons) has been involved. The police has reported on a social network that an investigator from the National Crime Agency (NAKA) has pressed charges against the MP for disclosing classified information. Jaroslav N. allegedly violated confidentiality by asking an individual from the "security environment" a question about the case of former Russian military intelligence officer Sergei Skripal who was the target of a poison attack in 2018 in UK.
