Another dead woman found in Bratislava

Police found another young woman dead in the Trnavka borough of Bratislava on Thursday morning, but emphasised that the case has no connection to the case from November 11. A medical examiner ruled out any foul play, although the precise cause of death is yet to be determined by autopsy. The police have already learnt the identity of the dead woman, she was a 28-year-old inhabitant of Bratislava. "I can unequivocally confirm that there is no link between this case and the case recorded in the same area on November 11," stated Bratislava Regional Police Directorate (KR PZ) head Adrian Pavlik, adding that no evidence exists to suggest it was the rampaging of a serial killer. On November 11, a 34-year-old woman was found lying on the ground with serious injuries at Pristavna Street in Bratislava. Her body bore marks of severe sexual violence and her vertebra was broken. By the time the paramedics arrived, she was already in a state of hypothermia from lying exposed to the elements on the ground and died on the way to hospital.
