The Slovak Central Bank (NBS) joined the "coalition of the willing" as of Thursday - a network of central banks and supervisors, aimed at analysing risks and opportunities surrounding the shift to a low-carbon economy. The official name of the organisation is the Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS). At the moment, NGFS memberships consists of 46 central banks and nine supervisory bodies. "We share one conviction with the Slovak Central Bank: the best guarantee of success is having central banks coordinate their responses to global challenges, such as the climate change," underlined NGFS chair Frank Elderson.
