Government continues in away from home sessions

On Thursday, the governing cabinet is meeting for its away from home session in the central Slovak village of Slovenské Ďarmoty, Veľký Krtíš district. There, the government planned to negotiate a regional contribution of over €1 million on various projects. On Wednesday, the government met in the eastern Slovak village of Slavošovce, Rožňava district. According to Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini, over 3,000 jobs have been created in the district since the launching of an action plan for the region in 2016. Pellegrini said that at that time, unemployment in the Rožňava district had been standing at 21%, but had dropped to 12% this year, even though the aim was to reduce it to 16% in 2020.
