The registered unemployment rate in Slovakia stood at 4.94% in October, indicate the data released by the Labour, Social Affairs and the Family Centre. The number represents a month-on-month decline of 0.10 percentage points (p.p.) and a year-on-year drop by 0.29 percentage points. The unemployment rate calculated from the total number of jobseekers reached 6.04 percent in October, down by 0.07 p.p. m-o-m and by 0.31 p.p. y-o-y.
