Industrial production in Slovakia posted a year-on-year decrease of 2.5% in September 2019, according to the Slovak Statistics Office. The main factor behind the decline is a 3.1% drop in industrial manufacturing. On the other hand, supplies of electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning grew by 2.7%, and mining and quarrying also rose by 2%. Moreover, the seasonally adjusted industrial output in September grew by 1.3% on a month-on-month basis.
