Brussels on Thursday hosted an EU summit over the critical situation in Ukraine. The Slovak Foreign Affairs Ministry led by Miroslav Lajčák confirmed Slovakia’s intention to help Kiev. The financial package, which the EU has promised to Ukraine, will not affect Slovakia’s budget.
“Funds for Ukraine do not have a direct impact on public finance of member states,” spokesperson for the Foreign Affairs Ministry Boris Gandel claims.
