Following the failure to launch EU accession talks with Albania and North Macedonia, discussions focused on continuing the integration and reform processes in the region of the Western Balkans will be on the agenda of an OSCE meeting in Geneva held on Thursday and Friday. Attending the talks on the political and economic future of the Western Balkans countries are their political leaders as well as the Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajčák, since Slovakia is currently presiding the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe. The integration of the Western Balkans into European and other international structures has been high on Lajčák's agenda for years.
