The Slovak Government approved on Wednesday an extension of the stay of a United States Armed Forces team in Slovakia until December 31, 2020. A Civil Affairs team composed of four members of the United States Armed Forces is currently deployed with the garrison in Martin (Žilina region). It is carrying out training and consulting tasks as part of civil-military cooperation between the armed forces of Slovakia and the USA.
