Slovakia on Wednesday decided to send two members of the Slovak Armed Forces to Ukraine as part of an inspection group of OSCE-member countries.
Slovakia is doing so based on a diplomatic note released by Kiev on Monday which states that Ukraine turned to individual OSCE countries to send inspectors in order to "dispel concerns about military activities". “Members of our armed forces should leave for Ukraine within the next few days,” stated Defence Minister Martin Glvač calling this step Slovakia’s contribution towards the de-escalation of tension in Ukraine.
