Hidden camera allegedly installed in prosecutor's office

Prosecutor Dobroslav Trnka has been temporarily suspended from his position. According to TV JOJ, disciplinary proceedings were initiated against him on Thursday. One day prior to this, the Ján Kuciak Investigative Centre released a video allegedly showing that entrepreneur Marián Kočner, charged in the case of journalist Kuciak's murder, had installed a camera in the office of Dobroslav Trnka. The more than one-minute long video shows two men setting up a camera in a room featuring a couch. The footage shows the year 2000, but since it is possible to set any date on such cameras, the date of the recording cannot be established as for now. Dobroslav Trnka was deputy prosecutor general from 1999, before he became prosecutor general in 2004 for seven years.
