The outlook for Slovakia's GDP growth next year has been scaled down by analysts of commercial banks to 2.5 percent year-on-year for 2019, while at the beginning of this year they were predicting a 4.3-percent growth, according to the TASR press agency. As for 2020, Slovakia's GDP growth is expected to decelerate to 2.2 percent year-on-year. The unemployment rate in Slovakia is forecast to stand at 5.7 percent at the end of this year. Inflation is estimated to be 2.7 percent.
