Opposition lawmakers refused to accept Parliamentary Vice-chair Martin Glvac (Smer-SD) presiding over Thursday's House session and demanded his replacement by anyone else instead. A number of opposition MPs were slated to deliver speeches in the Chamber. They refused to do so while Glvac presided over the session. The reason is Glvac's alleged communications with Marian K., who has been charged with ordering journalist Jan Kuciak's murder.
