Slovak President Zuzana Caputova attended an evening banquet at the Tokyo Imperial Palace following the official coronation of new Japanese Emperor Naruhito on Tuesday. She congratulated the new emperor on behalf of Slovakia. The guests included Britain's Prince Charles, King Philip VI of Spain, Hungarian President Janos Ader, former French president Nicolas Sarkozy, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, among others. The Japanese Imperial Dynasty is the longest ruling dynasty in the world. Emperors from this family have ruled the country for at least 1,500 years.
