No more coalition sessions?

Parliamentary Chair Andrej Danko (Slovak National Party/SNS) stated on Tuesday that he does not intend to take part in the future sessions of the coalition council. Danko's statement came after Parliament on the same day rejected two motions from the SNS, namely an amendment to the law on public procurements and the suggestion on setting up a tourism and sports ministry. He called the result of the votes one of the biggest political disappointments, blaming namely the junior coalition partner Most-Hid. Its leader Bela Bugar informed the press that Danko was told by Most-Hid that they would not support these two proposals ahead of the Parliamentary meeting.
