PM: Indictments in Kuciak’s case are a satisfaction

Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) regards the indictments filed against businessman Marian Kočner for ordering the murder of journalist Jan Kuciak and his fiancee Martina Kušnirová as "satisfaction and redress". He praised the work of all the investigative teams involved as well as the prosecutor's office. On Monday, the Special Prosecutor's Office indicted Kočner and three other people: Alena Zsuzsová is being charged as a mediator, Tomáš Szabó of assisting in the murder and Miroslav Marček, who confessed to being the hitman. Last Friday, Zoltán Andruskó, charged as a mediator, already concluded a plea bargain with the Special Prosecutor. However, the court still needs to approve the bargain. Kuciak, who wrote extensively about Kočner's shady business deals, and his fiancée were shot dead in his home last February.
