Foreign Affairs minister disappointed by some EU partners

The Slovak Foreign Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák (nominee of Smer-SD) was disappointed that some EU partners could not be persuaded to open accession negotiations for Northern Macedonia and Albania. The Minister considers it important that these states should not be demotivated in their euro-integration progress. The Slovak diplomacy wanted to have this topic discussed at last week's EU summit but it did not happen.
